Our opening hours are from 08:00 to 17:00 and we offer a free shuttle service to/from the airport during those hours. If your flight is delayed, resulting in your arrival outside of our business hours, we suggest finding accommodation until we open. For example, if your flight arrival changed from 15:00 to 22:00, you will have to pick up your camper van at 08:00 the next day, at the earliest. There are many accommodations available in the Keflavik area and you can find more information here:
Both pick-up and drop-off take place at our headquarters in Stapabraut 21, 260 Reykjanesbær, which is less than a 10 minute drive from the airport. All pick-ups and drop-offs will take place at this location.
We offer free pick-up service to our customers at Keflavik International Airport & Keflavik area. Please put your pick-up information in the reservation - flight number / arrival time or hotel name. Our shuttle will give you a ride to our office to pick-up your camper van. We also provide free drop-off to the Keflavik international airport area when you return the camper van. The pick-up service is available from 08:00-17:00 but the drop-off service is available from 08:00-16:30.
We will wait for you in the arrival hall at the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. Please approach our employee and let us know who you are. They will use the shuttle bus to drive you to our office. The earliest airport pickup we provide is 8:15
Yes, we offer a free drop-off service to Keflavik international airport. This service is available from 08:00 - 16:30.
No, refunds are not given for returning the camper early.

Theft Insurance (TI) protects you from paying any self risk (deductible) if the camper van is stolen. If you do not have this insurance and the vehicle is stolen, you will have to pay self risk of EUR 2.000,-

The rental price includes unlimited kilometers, 24 % VAT tax, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), bedding (sheet, pillows, blankets, duvets), all cookware, etc. - basically everything you need to cook, eat and sleep in the camper van. No, our campers do not have a toilet or shower. The reason is that our goal is to make our camper vans as simple as possible to drive and operate. Showers and travel toilets require a lot of space and are complicated to operate. But do not worry, in Iceland there are many gas stations, small shops, and restaurants where you can use the bathroom facilities. You can also find our famous geothermal swimming pools in almost every small village around the island where you can swim, shower, go to the hot tubs etc. for a very small fee. Most campgrounds also offer good facilites for tourists to use. For this reason, we decided to not have toilets and showers in our camper vans.
The heating system that is included in the camper van cannot be left on overnight. For this reason, we recommend sleeping bags for rentals that take place in colder months (September - April). During high season (May - August) most people are comfortable without a sleeping bag. Everything you need to sleep in the camper van is included (sheet, pillow, blanket, and a comforter) and that, in addition to warm clothes, is enough to stay comfortable. However, if you prefer having a sleeping bag during cold nights, we recommend bringing your own or renting one from us (see more information under "Extras")

All of our camper vans are manual transmission vehicles. Actual make and model may vary depending on availability, so we reserve the right to deliver a similar vehicle. By similar vehicle, we mean that we will deliver a vehicle that will fulfill the requirements of the vehicle type and class that you booked. Not all our camper vans are brand new, but they are all well maintained and in very good condition.
The minimum rental period is 3 full days (72 hours).

New legislation prohibits parking overnight in a camper van outside organized campsites or urban areas. You may still set up a traditional tent in Iceland, with some restrictions. Please ask us about the details of camping with a traditional tent if interested. The most important thing to know is that different rules now apply to camper vans, so you always need to find an organized campsite to spend the night.
