Currently, both pick-up and drop-off take place at our headquarters in Reykjavik, Rofabær 9, 112 Reykjavik. However, we are moving in November 2015 to our new headquarters located at Stapabraut 21, 230 Keflavik, 10 minutes southeast of Keflavik International Airport. All pick-ups and drop-offs will take place at the new location.
Currently, we offer free pick-up service to our customers within the greater Reykjavik area and Keflavik International Airport. Please put your pick-up information in the reservation - flight number / arrival time or hotel name. Our shuttle will give you a ride to our office to pick-up your camper van. We also provide free drop-off to the Reykjavik area when you return the camper van. This service is available every day from 8:30 - 16:30.

We will wait for you in the arrival hall at the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. Please approach our employee and let us know who you are. They will use the shuttle bus to drive you to our office in Reykjavik, an approx. 30-40 minute drive, to pick up your camper van. The earliest airport pickup we provide is 8:30.
No, we do not offer a drop-off service to Keflavik international airport. However, we do offer a free drop-off service within the Reykjavik area. Most of our clients go to a hotel / motel in Reykjavik or the Central Bus Station (BSÍ) where you can buy a FlyBus ticket to Keflavik.

Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) is the same insurance as CDW but lowers the self risk (deductible) to EUR 600,-
Gravel Protection (GP) covers damages to the entire front of the camper van, including the windshield, headlights, and hood, caused by gravel that gets thrown at the rental car by another car.
Theft Insurance (TI) protects you from paying any self risk (deductible) if the camper van is stolen. If you do not have this insurance and the vehicle is stolen, you will have to pay self risk of EUR 2.000,-
Sand & Ash Insurance (SAI) covers damages to the camper van caused by sandstorm / ash.

The rental price includes unlimited kilometers, 24 % VAT tax, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), bedding (sheet, pillows, blankets, duvets), all cookware, etc. - basically everything you need to cook, eat and sleep in the camper van. No, our campers do not have a toilet or shower. The reason is that our goal is to make our camper vans as simple as possible to drive and operate. Showers and travel toilets require a lot of space and are complicated to operate. But do not worry, in Iceland there are many gas stations, small shops, and restaurants where you can use the bathroom facilities. You can also find our famous geothermal swimming pools in almost every small village around the island where you can swim, shower, go to the hot tubs etc. for a very small fee. Most campgrounds also offer good facilites for tourists to use. For this reason, we decided to not have toilets and showers in our camper vans.
The heating system that is included in the camper van cannot be left on overnight. For this reason, we recommend sleeping bags for rentals that take place in colder months (September - April). During high season (May - August) most people are comfortable without a sleeping bag. Everything you need to sleep in the camper van is included (sheet, pillow, blanket, and a comforter) and that, in addition to warm clothes, is enough to stay comfortable. However, if you prefer having a sleeping bag during cold nights, we recommend bringing your own or renting one from us (see more information under "Extras")

All of our camper vans are manual transmission vehicles. Actual make and model may vary depending on availability, so we reserve the right to deliver a similar vehicle. By similar vehicle, we mean that we will deliver a vehicle that will fulfill the requirements of the vehicle type and class that you booked. Not all our camper vans are brand new, but they are all well maintained and in very good condition.
The minimum rental period is 3 full days (72 hours).

We strongly encourage you to use local campsites. If that is not an option, you are allowed to park the van in certain areas around the country. Make sure that the spot is not private property, a national park, or a place of sanctity, as you are not allowed to spend the night in those places. Note that some smaller towns around Iceland also have special laws prohibiting camping outside of campsites. Finally, remember that off-road driving is prohibited everywhere in Iceland in order to protect Icelandic nature.
