All of our camper vans are manual transmission vehicles. Actual make and model may vary depending on availability, so we reserve the right to deliver a similar vehicle. By similar vehicle, we mean that we will deliver a vehicle that will fulfill the requirements of the vehicle type and class that you booked. Not all our camper vans are brand new, but they are all well maintained and in very good condition.

No, you do not have to pay anything in advance. All bookings are paid upon arrival at our office in Reykjavik.
If the rental car is not returned with a full tank of fuel, we will charge the renter for the fuel (based on current fuel prices) + EUR 50 service fee for filling up the tank.

Gravel Protection ( GP ) is an optional damage waiver which covers damages to the front wind screen, headlights and the car body when gravel or rocks get thrown at the rental car by another car.
No, we do not offer a drop-off service to Keflavik international airport. However, we do offer a free drop-off service within Reykjavik area. Most of our clients go to a hotel / motel in Reykjavik or the Central Bus Station where you can buy a Fly-Bus ticket to Keflavik.

No, our campers do not have a toilet or shower. The reason is that our goal is to make our camper vans as simple as possible to drive and operate. Showers and travel toilets require a lot of space and are complicated to operate. But do not worry, in Iceland there are many gas stations, small shops, and restaurants where you can use the bathroom facilities. You can also find our famous geothermal swimming pools in almost every small village around the island where you can swim, shower, go to the hot tubs etc. for a very small fee. Most campgrounds also offer good facilites for tourists to use. For this reason, we decided to not have toilets and showers in our camper vans.
We will wait for you in the arrival hall at the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. Please approach our employee and let us know who you are. They will use the shuttle bus to drive you to our office in Reykjavik, an approx. 30-40 minute drive, to pick up your camper van.

No, it is not necessary for most people. Everything you need to sleep in the camper van is included (sheet, pillow, blanket, and a comforter) and that, in addition to the heating system, is enough to stay warm and comfortable. Some people, however, get cold very easily and prefer having an extra sleeping bag during colder nights. If you are one of those people, we recommend bringing your own sleeping bag or renting one from us (see more information under "Extras")
The rental price includes unlimited kilometers, 24 % VAT tax, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), bedding (sheet, pillows, blankets, duvets, all cookware, etc.) - basically everything you need to cook, eat and sleep in the camper van. Please review terms and conditions before booking a rental car.

Yes, we offer FREE pick-up service to our customers within the greater Reykjavik area and Keflavik international airport. Please put your pick-up information in the reservation - flight number / arrival time or hotel name. Our employee will give you a ride to our office to pick-up your rental car. This service is available every day from 8:00 - 17:00.
Our best prices are always online, so the cheapest and easiest way to book a camper van is using our website. Simple, isn't it?
We strongly recommend that you use local campsites whenever possible. However, if that is not an option, you are allowed to park the van anywhere in the countryside where you can find a safe spot, as long as it is not private property. Note that some smaller towns around Iceland have special laws prohibiting camping outside of campsites. Also, off-road driving is prohibited everywhere in Iceland in order to protect Icelandic nature.
